The path

Seven steps, in this order

The path follows the Elifba's own order — nothing is skipped, each step opens only once the one before it holds, and the seventh is reading from the Qur'an.

  1. The letters

All 28, with the shape each takes at the start, middle and end.

  2. Harakat

Fatha, kasra, damma — and what they do to a letter's sound.

  3. Connections

Letters that join, and the six that never do.

  4. Tanween

The doubled marks and the nasal sound they carry.

  5. Sukun

The resting letter and the closed syllable.

  6. Reading rules

Çeker, uzatan, hemze, med — the rules that hold reading together.

  7. Short surahs

Reading from the Qur'an, word by word, with a voice beside you.

How it looks

Four screens, the whole app

Not a promo film — these are captures of the running app.

A path, not a menu

A lesson opens only once the one before it is done. The child always sees exactly one next step, and how far they have come.

Listen, then answer

The question is a sound. The options become clickable only once the audio has actually played — not when the file finished loading.

The Elifba, page by page

The same pages as in class. Every letter can be heard on its own, as often as needed.

Homework that counts itself

The teacher sets a page and a number. Every clip heard to the end counts one — cut short, muted or swiped away counts nothing.

Privacy

What never leaves the device

  • A child's voice

Pronunciation is processed on the device. A recording is never uploaded.

  • No tracking

No analytics services, no advertising, no profiles.

  • Location only roughly

Rounded to about a kilometre for prayer times — not stored, not logged.

Data stays in the EU. For children under 16 the app asks a parent first.
