What Kutalif is

Kutalif teaches reading the Qur'an by way of the Elifba: the letters, the marks and the reading rules, in that order. Alongside it come prayer times, the direction of prayer, and — for adults — a mosque search.

Kutalif is a learning tool. It is not a source of religious rulings.

Who may use it

The app may be used as a guest, without an account. An account requires a date of birth. For children under 16, a parent's confirmed consent is required before learning data is stored.

Accounts issued by a school are additionally covered by the agreement between that school and the provider.

Cost

Using Kutalif is free. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no in-app currency — rewards are experience points and badges only, and they carry no value.

How to use it

• Accounts are personal and are not shared.
• No attempts to reach another person's account, learning data or school data.
• No automated access that disrupts the service, and no circumventing technical protections.
• Anything others can see — a league display name, for instance — must not be abusive and must not impersonate someone.

Content and rights

The software, the design and the recordings are protected by copyright. You may use Kutalif to learn; redistributing the content or using it commercially is not permitted without consent.

Kutalif, its curriculum, texts, recordings and illustrations belong to BAD CREATIVE TECH BİLİŞİM VE YAZILIM SİSTEMLERİ LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ. The prayer times and the day's verse, hadith and supplication come from an external provider; those rights rest with its publishers.

Availability

Kutalif is run with care, but without a promise of uninterrupted availability. Features may change or be withdrawn; significant changes are announced.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time in the app: Profile → Settings → Privacy and data. Deletion is final.

The provider may suspend an account that breaches these terms; where the account was issued by a school, the school is informed.

Liability

Liability is unlimited for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise liability arises only for breach of a material contractual duty, and is limited to the foreseeable damage typical of such a contract. Mandatory statutory claims are unaffected.

Governing law

The law of [jurisdiction] applies. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where the user lives are unaffected.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date above changes with them, and significant changes are announced in the app.
